What do you love most about accounting?
Every day has a new challenge. There is no client that is the same as the next client. Every client have a new challenge and I hate to do work that is always the same.
Would you recommend accounting as a career for school-leavers, and why?
I always do. That is one career that never can be replaced by machines.
What qualities should South African business people be looking for in their accountant?
Honesty. Do they have time to devote to your business? Do they have knowledge of the industry of your business?
What is the biggest challenge facing accountants today?
Businesses is suffering and want to save money by evading tax. There is a lot of accountants out there that is prepared to help these clients being dishonest.
What aspects of accounting do you focus on most?
Reviews. But also focusing on an all round business advice solution for clients to help them make smarter decisions.

Will there be in future more types of money other than Bitcoin? Is it time that the old currency fall away to make place for currency that the value is being determined by market forces other that political inspired players?
